Dallas County has confirmed its first case of measles in 2025, health officials announced. The patient, a woman in her mid-20s, was contagious from May 30 through June 7 and visited two public locations in Plano during that time.

A Dallas County resident has tested positive for measles, the first case in a county resident so far this year. Officials at Dallas County Health and Human Services announced the case on Thursday.

The first known case of measles, the highly contagious respiratory illness, has been confirmed in Dallas County.
