Angela Bassett, Derek Luke and Anthony Mackie also starred in the film. The soundtrack reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200.

Despite his somewhat negative encounter with the Blowin’ In The Wind singer, Young continued to praise the film, which stars Timothée Chalamet as a young Dylan, “This movie is a great tribute to his life and music. I think if you love Bob’s music you should see this great movie. I loved it.”

Timothée Chalamet delivers an amazing performance as young Bob Dylan in James Mangold’s “A Complete Unknown,” which chronicles 19-year-old Dylan’s arrival in New York — after hitchhiking from Minnesota in 1961 — and his rapid rise to fame as a folk singer/songwriter, culminating with his dicey choice four years later to transition into a rock star.
