BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WMBB) – FPL is converting 230 main power line poles for 4,700 customers across Bay County. They are replacing wood poles with concrete structures on the main power lines.

Heavy lightning and straight-line winds of 75 to 80 miles per hour caused a lot of damage around North Texas. In Far North Dallas, a power pole crashed onto a home, starting a fire.
