Last season, the Aggies went 44-15 and made it to the Austin Super Regionals, but lost 6-3 in Game 3 to the Texas Longhorns. In the SEC preseason poll, Texas A&M was picked to finish fifth behind Tennessee, Oklahoma, Florida and top-pick Texas in Trisha Ford's sophomore year as head coach.

Texas A&M leads the way with 10 of the 16 first-place votes and six Aggies across both All-SEC teams. There is little doubt that TAMU will field one of the best offensive teams in the nation, and settling on a week-to-week batting order will be a good problem to have.

S pring sports are getting into full swing in Aggieland, and that goes up even a notch further on Thursday as the No. 7 Texas A&M softball team begins their 2025 season as they ho
