The stars came out to celebrate last night at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre, where Shakespeare's Othello took its first Broadway bow in the 21st century. The revival is helmed by Kenny Leon and features Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal as the iconic nemeses.

Stars descended upon Broadway to experience Denzel in his element, starring in a role that his “hero,” Mr. Jones, once played. The red carpet was stacked with talent, both comprised of Washington’s peers and entertainers who have long studied the great thespian.
