The Brooklyn Nets and guard Ben Simmons are finalizing a buyout agreement on Friday, according to multiple reports on the matter.

There were plenty of points when Ben Simmons’ colossal disappointment of a Nets tenure seemed as if it could be over. Back in March 2023, when a nerve impingement in his back and knee problems led to him being shut down.

On Friday, ESPN’s Shams Charania reported that the Nets are finalizing a buyout agreement with Simmons. He previously revealed that teams like the Cleveland Cavaliers and Los Angeles Clippers are interested in his services.
