An immigrant group behind a major lawsuit challenging President Donald Trump’s executive order seeking to end birthright citizenship receives millions of dollars in government funding annually, a Washington Examiner analysis of public records has found.

The Justice Department argued that the 14th amendment has been misinterpreted by the Supreme Court and doesn’t grant birthright citizenship to children of people who are unlawfully present.

The injunction issued Thursday by a judge in Seattle came a day after another injunction stemming from a lawsuit in Maryland.
