Bandai Namco has announced that Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero sold over five million copies worldwide. The fighting game was released in October 2024 to positive reviews, crossing over three million sales in its first 24 hours after launch.

The throwback anime fighter launched in October of last year, and managed to sell over 3 million copies within its first 24 hours — so it's sold a further 2 million since then. What's more, it's now the fastest-selling Dragon Ball title ever on console.

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero reaches 5 million units sold, without a sales platform breakdown. Commercially successful and critically well-received, the game has strong ratings with critics at 85% recommending.

Bandai Namco Entertainment has claimed that Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero has surpassed a total of 5 million units sold worldwide, making it the fastest-selling game in series history. The 3D fighting game, developed by Spike Chunsoft, was released on October 11.
