Over the last few days, the Wisconsin Human Society (WHS) has taken steps to address a challenging situation involving the rescue of 73 cats from a single household. According to a Facebook post from the WHS,

Wisconsin Humane Society is trying to rehome more than 70 cats seized from a home in Ozaukee County, the humane society said Tuesday in a Facebook post.The Ozaukee County Sheriff’s Office explained it was conducting a welfare check Wednesday in the Town of Grafton.

Some cats will be available for adoption soon, others will need temporary foster homes, the Wisconsin Humane Society says.
