Super Bowl tickets are known to be expensive. But data is showing that Super Bowl LIX is on track to be less expensive side than last year.

As of now, the Chiefs hold a 6-5 advantage over the Eagles, including their thrilling 38-35 Super Bowl win in 2023. Most recently, the clubs squared off in Kansas City on Nov. 20, 2023. Jalen Hurts and co. got their sweet regular season revenge in that contest and won 21-7, outscoring KC 14-0 in the second half.

Ticket prices have been dropping over the past few days and many tickets are selling for thousands of dollars less than a year ago.

Despite costing more than $6,000 currently, the median ticket cost for Super Bowl LIX a week from kickoff is the cheapest since 2020, according to Vivid Seats.
