C.J. Stroud knows the only place to go from rock bottom is up as the Houston Texans prepare for the postseason.

HOUSTON — The Houston Texans certainly didn’t look like a playoff team in a rout by the Baltimore Ravens on Wednesday. With just one game left until the playoffs begin, the AFC South champions know they’ll have to get much better to be competitive in the postseason.

C.J. Stroud is struggling, even when given time to pass, and defense has no answer for Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson.

Quarterback C.J. Stroud summed up Houston’s performance in an embarrassing 31-2 loss to Baltimore on Wednesday. “Sometimes you go out there and lay an egg,” Stroud said.

Texans players admit that their performance was "embarrassing" after the blowout loss to the Ravens. It's now painfully obvious that there's a large gap between the Texans and the top tier of teams in the AFC.
