Snowfall will continue into Monday with another 1 to 3 inches possible atop the accumulation Sunday. CPS and a slew of other districts have closed.

Heavy snowfall in the late hours of Sunday has led to a Level 2 snow emergency in Muskingum County, according to Sheriff Matt Lutz. Lutz said the southern half of the county has been hit harder than the northern due to heavy snowfall in the late evening hours. That, he said, requires low traffic levels so road crews can clear roads.

Fairfield County is under a level 3 snow emergency as of Monday morning. Roadways are closed to non-emergency personnel. No one should be driving during these conditions unless it is absolutely necessary to travel or a personal emergency exists.
