Right now, the team has four realistic starting candidates. Deshaun Watson isn't likely to play for the Browns during the 2025 season, but Joe Flacco, Kenny Pickett, Shedeur Sanders, and Dillon Gabriel are all competing with each other.

Flacco, who spent a short stint with the Browns back in 2023, makes his return to Cleveland this year, leading a relatively young and inexperienced quarterback room comprised of Kenny Pickett and rookies Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders.

On the rookie field, Gabriel went first most of the time, but both quarterbacks made some nice plays, including Sanders firing a couple of touchdowns to the corners of the end zone in the red zone drill, including one to tight end Tre McKitty.
