Sam Konstas caught most of the Indian players and former cricketers off guard with his counterattacking knock on the opening day of the boxing day Test at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). Konstas hit Bumrah for two sixes during his knock.

Konstas, who took on Bumrah's pace attack aggressively, struck the Indian pacer for two sixes in the opening hours of the match, despite struggling initially. Bumrah, speaking to the host broadcaster on Day 3, shared his experience facing the debutant, acknowledging that his style was not unfamiliar to him due to his extensive T20 career.

The 19-year-old Australian batter scored 60 runs in just 65 deliveries in his debut Test and was fierce against Jasprit Bumrah’s first spell, hitting a couple of audacious sixes.
