It was a weekend of violence across Sacramento with police saying two of the deadly shootings stemmed from sideshows.

At least two people were killed in shootings at two north Sacramento locations tied to sideshow activities early Sunday, police said.

A 12-year-old boy was shot and killed Saturday evening in the Meadowview neighborhood, according to the Sacramento Police Department. It was third fatal shooting in less than 24 hours in the city.
