The Texas Longhorns and Ohio State Buckeyes play in the College Football semifinals to see who plays Notre Dame for national title.

Two of the hottest teams in college football battle in the Cotton Bowl as 5-seed Texas meets 8-seed Ohio State with a trip to the College Football Playoff National Championship on the line. The Buckeyes have turned a corner since the postseason began and won their first two games by a combined 45 points,

The Longhorns were one yard away from a tying touchdown late in the fourth quarter, but the Buckeyes won, 28-14, to set up a CFP national championship game matchup against Notre Dame.
