While tensions escalate as protests against ICE continue to grip major cities, "No Kings" demonstrations are underway across the U.S.

Los Angeles has been plunged into another day of curfew amid ongoing immigration protests after tear gas and rubber bullets were deployed during "No Kings" demonstrations across the United States.

Around 2,000 protests were planned on Saturday in opposition to President Donald Trump. Large crowds turned out in cities like Portland, Denver, Chicago, Houston and Los Angeles – and in smaller communities in traditionally conservative areas.

Protesters held signs that read, “No kings since 1776,” “Bad Things Happen When Good People Do Nothing,” “Stop the Parade Fund Medicaid,” “When cruelty becomes normal compassion looks radical” and “Make Orwell Fiction Again.”
