The NBA suspended center Naz Reid and guard Donte DiVincenzo each for one game following an altercation between Timberwolves players and multiple members of the Pistons in Sunday’s win over Detroit. The two missed Tuesday’s game at Denver as the Wolves began a five-game road trip.

The Minnesota Timberwolves are on a hot streak at the moment, and they want to control their own destiny by maintaning this form.

Pistons big man Isaiah Stewart was suspended for two games, while forward Ron Holland Jr. and guard Marcus Sasser were each suspended for one game. Minnesota’s Naz Reid and Donte DiVincenzo were each given a one-game suspension as well.

If the Pistons manage to pull off a miracle, it will be because of the excess vibes and goodwill from the first game between these two teams. In that game, the Pistons fought hard against the league’s best team.

Nikola Jokic had 27 points and 14 rebounds before sitting the fourth quarter and the Nuggets beat the Jazz 129-93 to pad their lead in the fight for the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference.

Along with Reid, teammate Donte DiVincenzo will serve a one-game ban in Tuesday's game against the Nuggets, while the NBA suspended Detroit's Isaiah Stewart for two games and Ron Holland and Marcus Sasser for one game.
