Saskatchewan RCMP say the deaths of two men and two women on Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation on Tuesday are being considered homicides and may have been targeted.

Four deaths on Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation in southern Saskatchewan are being treated as homicides, RCMP said Wednesday. RCMP Inspector Ashley St.

RCMP say officers responded to a report about deaths on reserve, located about 80 kilometres east of Regina, at 11:15 a.m. CST on Tuesday. They found four people dead in a home.

The investigation continues into what RCMP believe was a 'targeted' attack that left four people dead. They were found on Tuesday.

An initial investigation determined the deaths to be suspicious, Mounties said, but they didn’t provide details about a possible suspect. Four hours later, RCMP said they received reports about a man pointing a gun at people on Zagime Anishinabek, formerly known as the Sakimay First Nation, roughly 95 kilometres away.

Sask. RCMP will be providing a statement on the suspicious deaths on Carry the Kettle Nakoda Nation and police operations on Zagime Anishinabek.

Police have arrested a man accused of pointing a gun at people on a First Nation in southern Saskatchewan a few hours after four people were found dead in a home on another reserve. RCMP say Keagan Panipekeesick was arrested early this morning in Regina.
