A Florida doctor is facing criminal charges after federal prosecutors allege he produced child sexual abuse material and coerced a girl to hang herself, resulting in her death.

One of the victims was found dead after Stephen Andrew Leedy directed her to hang herself, according to court records. Leedy’s wife is a leader with the Juvenile Welfare Board of Pinellas County.

A palliative care doctor in Tampa Bay has been arrested after allegedly sexually exploiting several children and directing them to "cut, choke, and hang themselves," according to the U.S. Department of Justice.
