In a statement to TODAY.com, Mattel confirmed the mislabeling. The toy company said it “was made aware of a misprint on the packaging of the Mattel Wicked collection dolls, primarily sold in the U.S., which intended to direct consumers to the official WickedMovie.com landing page.”

It wasn’t much of a surprise when Wicked dolls began to line the shelves leading up to the release of the film, but people did get a jump scare when they looked at the back of the box. Advertisements for the highly anticipated film adaption of Wicked the Broadway musical are everywhere.

Toymaker Mattel intended to refer consumers to the “Wicked” movie’s landing page. The “misprinted, incorrect website is not appropriate for children,” it said.
