Gibson, who stopped 9 of 10 shots in the first period, was replaced by Lukas Dostal to start the second. The Ducks confirmed Gibson would not return to the game following his removal from it. He won his 200th NHL game on Jan. 5 against Tampa Bay. Tuesday’s victory also leaves him four wins from tying Jean-Sebastien Giguere for the most in franchise history.
