Tennessee not only gets a quarterback to replace Nico Iamaleava, but the Vols will get one at a significant discount.

Joey Aguilar, who transferred to UCLA just a few months ago, is now on his way out. He struck a deal Monday afternoon to sign with Tennessee, where he'll replace quarterback Nico Iamaleava — who just left the program for UCLA after some chaotic NIL drama in Knoxville — according to Rivals.

Aguilar will make “seven-figures less” than Iamaleava was due to make at Tennessee, per Dellenger. Iamaleava was due to make $2.4 million, which means that at most, Aguilar would be making $1.4 million by that math.
