With the reports resurfacing, social media is again taking Michigan and Harbaugh to task, including Illinois head coach Bret Bielema. In a video posted by Justin Spiro, Harbaugh, then coaching the San Francisco 49ers, is seen discussing the importance of teams being above reproach, especially when they’re winning.

According to Yahoo’s report, Michigan is standing by Harbaugh, current head coach Sherrone Moore and other staff members, accusing the NCAA of “grossly overreaching” and “wildly overcharging” the program without credible evidence that suggests other staff members had knowledge of Stalions’ illegal in-person scouting system.
