Fox News senior national correspondent Aishah Hasnie reports on Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., postponing his book tour events amid backlash over his support for a GOP stopgap funding bill on 'Special Report.

The Senate passed the bill 54-46 on Friday. The Democrats who voted to pass the funding bill were Schumer and Sens. John Fetterman (D-PA), Angus King (I-VT), Dick Durbin (D-IL), Brian Schatz (D-HI), Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV), Maggie Hassan (D-NH), Gary Peters (D-MI), Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY), and Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH).

Veteran Democrats privately believed Chuck Schumer’s decision on the shutdown was inevitable. Others were ready for the top Senate Democrat to lead them into their first big battle against President Donald Trump — and instead have been left fuming.
