The Republican-controlled FTC is abandoning a Biden-era effort to block Microsoft’s purchase of “Call of Duty” video game maker Activision Blizzard.

The U.S. Federal Trade Commission on Thursday dismissed a price discrimination lawsuit against the drink and food giant PepsiCo, a move that former FTC Chair Lina Khan, who served under former President Joe Biden, called “disturbing behavior.”

The New York Times reported that the Federal Trade Commission launched an investigation into Media Matters over alleged collusion with advertisers against Elon Musk's X.
