Four players from the River Plate women's team who were arrested for an alleged racial slur during a match have been released, the Sao Paulo state's prison administration secretariat said.

Four River Plate women's players have been granted bail on condition following their arrest for on-field racism.

The referee issued red cards to six River players and ended the  Brazil Ladies Cup semifinal because there was no longer the minimum number of players required to continue.
