The Streetz Krazy artist (born Kenneth Edward Rashaad Bailey) was pronounced dead on Friday, which was his birthday, after he was brought into Grady Marcus Trauma Center from a location on the southeast side of the city.
The Atlanta Police Department says officers responded to a dispute with a weapon Friday, which was Young Scooter's 39th birthday.
Rapper Young Scooter died at the age of 39 after a leg injury caused by running from the police on his birthday, March 28, reports the Atlanta Police Department in a press briefing. The police were called to a home in Atlanta as there were reports of “a dispute with shots fired and a female being dragged back into the residence” and they caught Scooter running out of the house.
