Federal govt announces day of mourning on Saturday with national flag set to fly at half-mast throughout the country.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif spoke with Prince Rahim Aga Khan on Thursday and condoled with him on the sad demise of his father Prince Karim Aga Khan, as the government declared Saturday (tomorrow) as "day of national mourning" in the country.

The Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN) announced the passing of the “49th hereditary Imam of the Shia Ismaili Muslims and direct descendant of the Prophet Muhammad” on their website.
