According to the latest reports, R&B singer and musician R Kelly was purposefully given an overdose of medication by the Bureau of Prisons staff, was rushed to the hospital. He revealed to his lawyer that he was not allowed to undergo an important surgery to remove blood clots from his leg.

R. Kelly was taken to a hospital in Durham, N.C. after what his lawyers are saying was a near-fatal overdose administered by prison officials.

“Unfortunately, no court has the ability to enter an order freeing Kelly’s victims from the prison that Kelly put them in.”
