"No Kings Day" protests are being held nationwide this weekend to protest President Donald Trump’s policies, and several have broken out across Central Florida.

The “No Kings” protests are a national movement opposing what organizers call increasing authoritarianism and political overreach.

The mass protest was focused on the Trump administration's actions that protesters believe are authoritarian and blur the line of democracy.

On Saturday, people in the Kansas City area will gather for "No Kings Day," a day of protest against President Donald Trump.

Protesters held signs that read, “No kings since 1776,” “Bad Things Happen When Good People Do Nothing,” “Stop the Parade Fund Medicaid,” “When cruelty becomes normal compassion looks radical” and “Make Orwell Fiction Again.”

Organizers in Spokane have combined a local No Kings rally and a long-planned Pride festival. Pia Hallenberg, one of the Pride event organizers, estimates 60,000 people have turned out to the Lilac City’s tree-lined downtown riverfront park so far,
