This is really cool place of history. It is a must see in Wichita. Ks. You can even take scooters right to it. Convenient location in downtown area. Lots to do around the location. Go to the night… Full review by FamilyG6

If in Wichita, don't miss seeing this statue. We visited both during the day and at night, and it was worth seeing. Stop at the nearby museum to get more information on the artist. Full review by Morgan F

Is Keeper of the Plains pet friendly?
A:
It is a public park and I think a dog on a leash would be fine, just be aware it can be crowded and there can be Canada geese and other birds around.

We parked in a parking lot nearby that could accommodate an rv. We were there in April, so there was plenty of parking.

Sorry, but I have no idea. I’m from Florida and visited Wichita this past summer. Even in the daylight, it’s beautiful!

The last I heard..and I think it is accurate...spring and summer they light at 9 p.m. for 15 min..fall and winter they light at 7 p.m. for 15 min...but if too windy or rainy, they aren t lit. Even if …

The last I heard..and I think it is accurate...spring and summer they light at 9 p.m. for 15 min..fall and winter they light at 7 p.m. for 15 min...but if too windy or rainy, they aren t lit. Even if not lit, it is a beautiful place to go. Great for pics..you can get really close to the keeper.
