We will arrive in Gwalior Airport at 3.30 pm - we wish to cover Jai Vilas Palace same day going straight to museum from airport - is it feasible ? How much time required to reach the palace from airport and upto what time it remains open ?

Commuting time from the airport to Jai Vilas Palace would not be more than 30 minutes. The museum is very beautiful... you could spend hours, but I suppose a couple of hours …
Commuting time from the airport to Jai Vilas Palace would not be more than 30 minutes. The museum is very beautiful... you could spend hours, but I suppose a couple of hours should be sufficient for the first visit. While in Gwalior, you could also have a look at the Mansingh Palace, Sound & Light Show, Tansen Memorial, Gujari Mahal. If you are fond of sweets, its worthwhile to try Bahadura ke laddoo & Morena ki Gajak.

Depends on your interest. We wanted to admire everything so took about 3 hours. When you think you have seen the whole palace and are ready to drop from exhaustion, then you will come across the Crystal palace. Don't miss it!!
